Privacy Policy
1.1 eBullpen collects some private information about You in the course of registration, in order to verify that You are who You say You are, and, where applicable, to process payment of Your subscription. We also collect a usable E-mail address so that We can communicate with You. However, We do not release any of that information to anybody else outside of eBullpen, except as required by law.
1.2 You should be aware that the purpose of the web Site is to facilitate introductions between Employers with open positions and Job Seekers. When You are communicating with another person in this area, you should also be aware that You have only been introduced to on a virtual basis. Please be sensible and do not part with any of Your personal information, until You deem it appropriate. The purpose of the Online Interview room is that an employer invites a job seeker there and begins a conversation. The employer does not have information about the job seeker at that stage, except a user name, which is either self-selected by the job seeker, or the first half of the job seeker’s E-mail address, if no user name is selected, and also a statistical profile overview that the job seeker matches to some degree with the employer’s desired employee profile. The system discloses the name and location of the employer, as entered during their signup process, to the job seeker on first contact. If that information is not present or not acceptable, the Job Seeker may disregard the invitation and close the interview. During a ‘virtual’ interview, the employer may ask the job seeker for his or her e-mail address, resume, eBullpen personality profile, or other information. The job Seeker understands that he or she is sharing that information directly with the employer, and is assuming responsibility for doing that. eBullpen will not give out any more information than a basic identifier and matching profile overview about any job seeker.
1.3 You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of Your passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible whenever You are online. Any eBullpen employee with access to personal data has been trained to comply with this privacy policy, and is trained on the effect of any updates, before they come into effect.
1.4 An eBullpen employee will not ask You for information beyond what was collected at Your original registration, or for updated information of the same type.
1.5 User Names and Passwords
During Registration, You are asked to provide Your E-mail address and a self-generated password, with which to access our secure area. It is Your responsibility to maintain the secrecy of Your password and not permit others to impersonate You on our Site. This responsibility includes properly logging out of the Site and closing the browser window at the end of Your session to make sure others cannot ‘ride a cookie’ back into Your secure area of the Site. You are also given an option to create a unique username which can alternatively be used for login instead of Your E-mail address. The system will accept either. The reason We offer creation of an alternative user name is for those people who may have E-mail addresses which give out information about You. For example john.smith@blog.com may identify You as male.
